"Go—because your kid will get a kick out of the special effects, the sword-fighting action, the slapstick comedy, and the exotic storyline. But all those (significant) aspects aside, go to let your kid escape the ordinary; let them get transported into a quirky, slightly dangerous and completely magical place, if just for a little while. It's a trip worth taking." Time Out Chicago Kids
"Filled with magical moments, thrilling combat and awe-inspiring special effects" - Centerstage Chicago
"Sprightly performances from Edgar Sanchez as the plucky porter, Dana Dajani as defiant Ittifaq, and Esteban Cruz as a sassy genie (can there be any other kind?) create a mostly enjoyable ramble." The Chicago Reader

Our Education Department produces a Learning Guide for all of our productions. This text is FULL of fun background information about the show, pre-show and post-show discussion questions, as well as art and language activities. While we primarily make it for our educators, we think parents should check it out as well. Click here to join the fun!Photo by Johnny Knight.
