A Creative Workshop Series!

Have nothing to do when you are off of school for a holiday? Well, Victory Gardens and Adventure Stage have teamed up to bring you a series of exciting and interactive theater workshops.

Friday, February 12th – Mask Workshop I
At Victory Gardens historic Biograph Theater
9:00am – 1:00pm Light snacks will be provided
Kids will design and create their own original masks, and learn the fundamentals of mask performance.

Monday, February 15th – Mask Workshop II
At Adventure Stage Chicago’s historic Vittum Theater
9:00am – 1:00pm Light snacks will be provided
Using their own original creations from Mask Workshop I or a stock character mask as inspiration, kids will write short pieces, block and rehearse their pieces employing the fundamentals of mask performance, and present their work on the ASC Stage for friends and family.



Tuesday – Thursday March 30, 31, April 1st – 3-Day Storytelling Workshop
At Victory Garden's historic Biograph Theatre
Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00am – 1pm light snacks will be provided
Thursday 9:00am – 4:00pm lunch provided
Kids will learn about the various story genres, witness professional storytelling, write their own stories, practice storytelling in front of their peers, and perform their original stories on the Victory Garden’s stage for friends and family.

Workshops are open to all kids ages 8-18.
Price is $20 per child, per day or $15 per child, per day for ASC Passport Holders.
